Hi everyone, today I am sharing my review on Pixi Skin treats which I picked up during my Christmas holidays in UK.
I bought them at Marks & Spencer in Worthing West Sussex.
As I was looking at their beauty & Makeup section my eyes caught the Pixi counter . I was thrilled to see the whole collection of skin care and makeup range . Sadly as it was Christmas, they had really good offers on the makeup and most had been sold so I could not buy the makeup to try.
I did however manage to try out the testers and I was very impressed by the quality and pigmentation of the makeup. Next time I'm definitely going to pick the makeup from this line to give a try!
Now a lot of you might think is it a drugstore or high end skin & makeup line. I would say its a mid range and quite reasonable priced. As my memory serves me right the highest price in this was around 32 pounds for Surprize glow tonic with the pump. The rest of them were under 30 pounds.

Now let's talk about the skin products I have been using since January .
1) Glow Tonic :-I have to say its one of the best toner I have used recently. Price :-18 Pounds. Contains 5% Glycolic Acid hence its also used as Exfoliating toner which helped to take off the dullness in skin over a period of time. Also has Aloe which soothes and hydrates while oxygenating ginseng promotes cell health and skin vibrancy.It also infused with witch hazels which firms the skin at the same time.Very Affordable and can be used morning & night after cleansing.
2)Peel & Polish:- For me this is a home facial regime which gives youthful glow & gently removes the dead dull skin and gives skin radiance . It's almost like having to go for peel treatment without leaving home. Price :-26 Pounds. It's so good that now I don't go for a facial very 6 weeks. This can be used 2-3 times per week, and it doesn't cause drying or dry patches. I follow it by an oxygen mask and good hydration gel from pixi.
Please be advised when doing peeling be aware that sometimes it can cause skin irritation, a burning sensation. especially if you have a very sensitive skin. I would suggest that you consult your dermatologist before start peeling or use any peeling products at home.
It has 6% Lactic Acid which helps exfoliate & clear the dull skin. Papaya Extract helps toning the skin texture. Sugar Cane extract which helps in giving a glow to skin.
3)H2O Skin Drink :-it's an intense moisture gel and instantly rehydrates the skin. It has this cooling & plumping effect with super light feel on the skin. It's also perfect for combination & oily skin with out clogging the pores. Price :-24 pounds .
It contains Aloe Vera which heals and soothes the skin. Green Tea which acts as antioxidant and cell protector. Rosemary which helps rejuvenation. Use only in the Morning after cleansing your face and before applying the makeup.
4)Glow -O2 oxygen Mask with Probiotic & Caffeine.:-It's a Bubbling Brightening Boost effect to skin, which is fatigue and dull. It instantly gives anti fatigue effect . Very good before application of makeup for an event just like GlamGlow mud Mask ( Black one). Price :-26 pounds. Can be used AM or PM, soothes skin and gives a tingling sensation to skin when applied first, which is normal. Contains PRO-Biotic which generates a skin barrier from all the free radicals. Caffeine helps in de-puffs and energizes the skin Red Gensing helps in brightening & clarifying the skin texture & tone. Oxygen complex helps in replenish the skin.
5)Glowtion Day Dew :- brightening lotion light weight, which nourishes ands give a youthful glow. It has advanced illuminating pigments which creates a natural glow. Price : 24 pounds. To be used only AM after cleansing & toning. Can be worn under makeup or by itself. Because it's a bend of botanical oil & skin smoothers which gives skin a boost specially for dull skin. It has Lavender Oil which soothes & calms the skin. MICA which helps in brightening the skin . Glycerin which traps the moisture to
skin.

I use them as my skin facial routine especially when I don't have time to get my facial done . I use the peel and polish then followed by a mask and toner and a good hydration gel for the skin. But I always do 3 or 4 days before an event as my skin needs to cam down after a peel .
