NARS Tinted Glow Booster vs Hollywood Flawless Filter Review

Glow Booster or Call its Illuminator /or Skin enhancer / Flawless filter. All these names and terms do the same thing that is giving "NATURAL GLOW /RADIANCE" to your face . But most of us get quite overwhelmed with different terms , names as the brands wants a catchy name to attract the audience in the beauty world. I have no complaints against brands coming out with fancy names or trying to attract the audience . Beauty industry is all about evolving and launching new products.

So let's review the Nars Tinted Glow booster and also I have a comparison to Hollywood Flawless Filter by Charlotte Tilbury.

What is Nars Tinted Glow Booster ?

It's a limited edition complexion enhancer with skin benefits which adds an alluring glow and soft focus effect to skin . Also extends the wear of makeup upto 16 hours. Its light -weight and can be layered under or over foundation. It can also be applied on high points on face for that natural illuminating glow finish.

FORMULA :-

It's light formula and is infused with Jojoba Complex Hydraglow, a dynamic combination of Jojoba Elixir for deep nourishment , with Jojoba Gel for a dewy finish. It also has coloured pearls to help brighten and illuminate skin for a naturally filtered look.

Comes in four shades and my SHADE IS 'MEDIUM DARK/ TANGSI".

HOW TO USE ?

Using the NARS Glow Booster is very simple from wearing it on its own or under your foundation to give that natural glow within. Sometimes I do use under my Foundation , but most of the days I have been wearing it on it's own. What I love is that it adapts to your undertone and makes it looks like skin with a glow. I also mix a drop of in a moisturiser and I use fingers to apply it. You can also wear it on high points of your face where you need the light to bounce back.

It comes in a glass container which is my favourite form of packaging and it can be re- used. And also has pump to dispense the product that means less messy and you can control how much product you want to use. But it's not a travelling friendly as the bottle adds extra weight to your luggage and also bottle being glass you have to be careful not to smash it.

REVIEW / THOUGHTS

Application and consistency is very good and it blends well , no patches / streaks. Comes in 4 shades and my shade is Tangsi, and perfectly matches or should I say adapts to my undertones. Don't be discouraged about shades as it not a foundation or tinted- moisturiser so it works for all.

This has that wet / hydrated look when applied and gives that glistening as there is a bit of micro shimmer in this product. But its so much wearable and you can dilute it with foundation / your moisturiser .Very good for dry skin. But if you have combination or oily , use it only on targeted areas.

#HOLLYWOOD FLAWLESS FITLER -CHARLOETTE TILBURY

It's very identical to Nars Glow Booster. The big difference between Flawless Filter and Glow Booster is they finish. Flawless Filter has more of pearly sheen , while Glow booster definitely shimmery .

Other difference is the packaging. The Flawless Filter comes with doe-foot applicator and also has more shades than Glow Booster.

Hardly any difference in their finish , blending finish , consistency and the price.

It has high gloss properties with smoothing air-brush polymers which acts to blurry the pores and give powerless finish . Very good when you want to achieve that subtle glow.

Porcelain Flower Extract is a brightening ingredient derived from a Thai flower with natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatories to enhance microcirculation and brighten skin.

Same like Glow Booster can be worn alone, under or over makeup.

How I like to wear these two is on it 's own as at the moment its too hot to wear full coverage makeup. They give enough boost and enhances my complexion with target concealer and corrector this goes well for everyday makeup.
